Shorts for babies 50/56 made from a rescued wool sweater (55% silk, 45% cashmere).
The color is a bright turquoise.
It is perfect for summer, but in combination with tights it is also suitable for all seasons. Also great as a diaper cover.
The waistband is particularly long and stretchy.
Thanks to the loose cut, the pants grow with the child and are also suitable for cloth diapers.

The wool material is wonderfully light and comfortable on the skin.
Because the wool is stretchy and the cut is rather loose, the pants can be worn for a long time. There is enough room in the pants for all types of diapers.
In winter you can combine them with tights.

Wool is a wonderful natural material: it regulates temperature, is breathable, dirt-repellent and odor-resistant. These are all properties that make wool an ideal material for baby and children's clothing.
However, breeding sheep for wool production is harmful to the climate and involves animal suffering.
A sustainable alternative is the use of existing resources: Jawoll Baby gives damaged wool sweaters a new life and makes the valuable resource wool usable again.

The orange thread from Jawoll Baby: Wool is biodegradable - polyester yarn is not. When the textile's usage cycle is over, you can see at a glance through the orange seams where you can separate the thread and wool and thus enable recycling. Only separated materials can be recycled in the household waste.

For any small holes that may appear during use, I will include a piece of the original fabric with your order. This way you can repair your favorite piece and use it for a long time.
